Try out our festive family-friendly no-alcohol mulled cider

Christmas is a time for celebrating with family and friends, which many of us look forward to all year round. With more opportunities for entertaining and much-welcomed time to spend relaxing with loved ones, the festive season can also lead to drinking more alcohol than usual. Why not make our family-friendly no-alcohol mulled apple cider to enjoy together? This recipe not only tastes delicious, it's quick and easy to make and will have your home smelling like Christmas!

Ingredients:

  • 2 litres of apple juice
  • 3 apples
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 all-spice berries or 1/2 teaspoon ground all-spice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Apple slices for garnish

Method:

  1. Pour two litres of apple juice into a large saucepan.
  2. Chop two apples into chunks and add to the juice.
  3. Add cinnamon sticks, all-spice and the zest of one orange to the mixture.
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes, without boiling.
  5. Slice an apple and use to garnish the cups or glasses.
  6. Pour into glasses, add the apple slices and enjoy.
