Tips to drink less alcohol

As with any changes you make to your life, drinking less alcohol may seem easy in the beginning but can become harder over time. Maybe there was a big sports event or family occasion where you felt pressured into drinking more than you originally intended. Whatever your reasons for reducing your alcohol consumption, it’s important to remain in control and remember why you committed to drinking less in the first place.

Opt for half pints or bottles.

Drink wine one glass at a time.

Try a lower alcohol drink.

Alternate drinks with water or soft drinks.

Never free-pour spirits, use a measure instead.

Have a spritzer or shandy.
